Assess how you function on a daily basis from professional and personal.

This will define your essential needs in the appropriate pieces you should own.

                 How physically active are you?

Do you spend a lot of time in a car or an office?

Is your social life a full calendar and if so what type of events?

3) How do you develop your own style maintaining the classics with a racy edge?

Evaluate and understand your silhouette. ( Body Type)

Features : Example- Hair or skin. (Color and texture)

Personality Type- Defines your look (Note style evolves from within and is portrayed outwardly and is something that you never stop striving for. In essence you may achieve our basic look but minor changes make you more interesting.)

4) How do you organize the ultimate wardrobe and care for it?

Merchandising your closet and drawers are the most efficient way.

Colorize your closet hang pieces that will coordinate as outfits with options. (This interaction will initiate the  opportunity for you to wear all of your clothes)

Make sure you can see clearly what you own and once you’ve worn an outfit you may want to rotate it in your closet.

Research a local dry cleaner and a seamstress that has a great reputation and develop a relationship just as you would with your butcher.

5) How many essential pieces should there be in a basic wardrobe?

The amount can vary but the basics are between 6 and 10 pieces.

Novelty jacket, pant, skirt , dress, blouse or shirt, 2 or 3 underpinnings (meaning tops and a suit if needed.)

Neutral shades of black, beige, camel and forms of burgundy are part of this category. Important note: These items should only be wovens or flat fabrics that can work back to novelty fabrics such as herringbones, tweeds,or chunky substantial weaves that give depth.

Footnote: Donna Karan innovated the idea of the new black when she arrived with Midnight which essentially is navy with a strong sophisticated black undertone. The fashion industry took it further using the same concept with dark green and burgundy.

Adding forms of brown, mushroom and even camel. This new black concept has broadened the basics in many neutral shades. It has certainly given the classic look a fresh new image.

Note: Can be defined further in discussion.
